Minutes re: November 13 Meeting

Our committee included Sue Russo, Sarah Thompson and Barbara Peisner. We are working on two separate meetings for parents and students. The first will be the end of January or beginning of February and will be on
the following education-related topics: the budget process, school consolidation and how it affects PHS, and the state funding formula. We will be inviting school administrators to help us learn about these issues and how we can be involved. The second meeting will be in March or April and will be about identifying signs of depression, anxiety, suicidality, and other mental health concerns in our youth, and how to deal effectively with these issues. Information about specific dates and speakers will be made available as plans are made.
